Knutsen Farms was founded by certified master gardener Tom Knutsen and his wife, Sally. They possess a mindset that organic, farm to table production yields superior products and they have made it their mission to produce the highest quality olive oil.
Knutsen Farms is a five acre orchard located in Sunol, California. In 1864, Thomas Bachelder, a lawyer from Maine, purchased two thousand five hundred acres and planted olives and grapes. Over the years the grove was abandoned and fell into disrepair. Tom and Sally, the founding members of Knutsen Farms took great interest in the olive grove and have dedicated the work necessary to rehabilitate the orchard to its former glory.
